Assessment of knowledge, attitudes and practices of clinicians in Guyana on antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and antibiotic use (AMU) in outpatient and inpatient settings

The aim of the project is to address two research questions:

  1. To evaluate clinicians’ understanding on AMR, factors contributing to its development and consequences of its misuse.
  2. To identify factors influencing prescription of antibiotics in outpatient and in-patient settings.
  3. To assess antibiotic prescribing practices among clinicians in outpatient and in-patient settings.
