In close cooperation with the Board of Directors, you will translate the organisation’s mission into a clear strategy and ensure continued delivery of high-quality, evidence-based results. You will represent ICARS internationally and act as the organisation’s most senior ambassador towards governments, multilateral organisations, donors and strategic partners. Together with other members of the ICARS Team, Science Advisors at ICARS Africa will support the development and management of its Africa project portfolio at the science-policy interface. They will provide technical guidance to project partners, lead activities for two donor-funded programs (Wellcome and EDCTP), and ensure timely reporting. Advisors will also promote ICARS’ mission by representing the organisation, building regional networks, strengthening capacity, and contributing to evidence generation and reporting on AMR. Additionally, they will assist the ICARS Africa Team Lead in establishing the new office and developing partnerships, including with Amref Health Africa.
