The International Centre for AMR Solutions (ICARS) is delighted to be joining discussions at the Turning the Tide of Antimicrobial Resistance (TTA) summer meeting on 3rd June 2020.
Dr Ghada Zoubiane, Head of Partnerships and Stakeholder Engagement, will present ICARS’ vision as an international One Health platform that supports and advocates for intervention and implementation research to tackle AMR, in partnership with low- and middle- income countries (LMICs). Ghada will introduce ICARS as a new model of working with LMICs ministries taking a One health perspective across human and animal health, the environment, global food security and economic prosperity.
With AMR being a global challenge that respects no boundaries, the intention of ICARS is to work through multiple partners and countries to develop interventions and create evidence-based solutions addressing problems identified in the countries’ National Action Plans (NAPs). Doing so, ICARS will expedite action and support translating policy into practice.
This online meeting will be a great opportunity to present ICARS’ model to Nordic partners and a community of actors in the field of AMR.
This event is open for everyone and it will be mostly held in Scandinavian languages. Registration for the conference closes on 29th May. For more information about the webinar: https://www.ttanetwork.net/events/tta-summer-meeting-2020/
