Strengthening sustainable stewardship for new antibiotics: Leveraging cross-sector experiences with a focus on LMICs – Webinar
This webinar co-hosted by ICARS and the Access to Medicine Foundation, brought together global experts to explore how to strengthen antimicrobial stewardship (AMS) for new antibiotics. It focused on the unique challenges and opportunities in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). With the increasing burden of AMR and the urgent need for sustainable health systems, this webinar provided a platform to:
- Discover the essential elements of an AMS-enabling ecosystem
- Learn from multi-sector experiences in improving stewardship practices
- Identify key enablers and barriers to AMS scale-up in LMICs
- Gain actionable recommendations for fostering sustainable and equitable use of antibiotics
The webinar features expert presentations, an interactive Q&A session, and actionable takeaways to support AMS implementation tailored to local contexts.
