Defending our health: Unravelling antimicrobial resistance
This film is one part of a longer news-style programme produced by ITN Business, which explores the urgent global threat of antibiotic resistance and highlights pioneering efforts to combat the crisis, featuring insights from industry experts and the vital work of organisations aimed at preserving our ability to treat infections effectively.
ICARS participated in the programme to emphasise the need for co-developing tailored solutions with Low- and Middle-Income Countries, and to showcase some of our projects currently being implemented to mitigate AMR. With a focus on Zambia, the film sets up the national AMR context, outlines the ICARS model, and interviews individuals engaged in ICARS’ solutions to address AMR in healthcare settings and poultry farms.
