Insights from a scoping review of the links between gender and antimicrobial resistance in low-and middle-income countries
An analysation peer-reviewed articles focused on AMR in LMICs, spanning human and animal health. Following PRISMA guidelines for scoping reviews, the author identified key ways in which gender norms and roles create different exposure risks to AMR and influence who is able to access and benefit from ways to prevent AMR.
