About

Pem Chuki is a medical doctor with public health expertise and over 10 years of experience in antimicrobial stewardship (AMS) and infection prevention and control (IPC) across South East Asia. She has worked with the World Health Organization (WHO) as a technical panel expert for the national essential medicines list (nEML) and as technical working member for antimicrobials and as a consultant on AMS and antimicrobial use surveillance. At the International Vaccine Institute, she led AMS and IPC strategies for clinical engagement in Asia, and collaborated with the Henry Ford Institute, Detroit, on a feasibility study for the WHO AMS practical toolkit and regional training module development. She brings in expertise on integrated AMS and IPC and use of diagnostics for clinical decision makings for country context scenarios.
